Ultimate Sacrifices (Veteran's Day 2023)

as we Honour all 

who have served

our country faithfully

and sacrificially 

(including those 

who have made

The Ultimate Sacrifice

which is ultimately

a Bridge

we all cross

one Day

but giving thanks

for the Way

in which

It is crossed

by some

giving all

for the sake

and safety

and protection

and Peace

for All

laying down life

for the lives

of others

like that Bridge

over troubled waters)

may those Sacrifices

(ordinary and Extraordinary

intimate and Ultimate)

not have been

made in vain

but serve

to empower

Our collective Consciousness 

and compassionate Conscience

to recognize and honour

the Belovedness

in All Others

and to shower

down Blessings

more than bullets

and to build

fewer barriers

and barricades

and more Bridges

modeling the Love

that embodies

The Ultimate Sacrifice

the Surrender

that engenders

new Sight

from blindness

new Strength 

in Kindness

new Solidarity 

in Oneness

and the Courage

to Encourage All

along the Pathway

to Peace...

Thanks to all

the Servant

of All.
