Yawn

Awake too late
Staring at screens
Awake too early
Stifling screams
Feeling the pressing
Power from ingesting
Too much blame
Reeling from concealing
Too much shame
From every pain
And mistake
And defeat
Remaining within me
(Reminding me
How much
We really are
What we eat)
Until my fatigue
Overwhelms my beleaguered
Mind and Heart
And opens my mouth
And releases all
i've swallowed
From the menu
Filled with appetizers
of self-deprecated
Accusation and flagellation
And sumptuous entrées
Of excruciating excoriation
In which i've marinated
And commiserated
And wallowed
Like a geyser
Unleashes so much
Internal violence
Through a virtuosic
Display of Sacred Spray
In virtual Silence
A simple guttural Yawn
Sends my Body shaking
Like roaring thunder
And my Heart quaking
Out from under
the weight of faking
My way through
Another infernal day
And empowers my awaking
Into the emerging Light
Of an Eternal Dawn
Where I can live
With more authenticity
And integrity
In the Love
As the Love
That is my true
Identity and Name
As One
Who is still
and never
the same...

Thanks.
