living through things
that could have
weakened and closed
us off forever
like daunting diagnoses
and unexpected changes
and unbidden distances
and unbearable phases
it's an unbelievable
and transformational Gift
to share Life
with a Beloved
who courageously Loves
and faithfully Lives
in such ways
that keep us
open to Life
come what may
where Love extends
beyond mere feelings
and wounds become
sources of Healing
where the Rhythm
of Hope moves
us more deeply
into that Dance
of the Heart
less a rut
more a Groove
with the Music
that keeps us
turning like tables
burning like Beacons...
