into disrepair
and deep calls
unto Deep
and the lonely
aspects of grief
are imminent
and the only
prospects of sleep
are permanent
and the tangible
expressions of reaction
are fears amplified
and the unimaginable
Incarnation of response
is Love crucified
by chattering powers
and clamoring minions
(like all of us)
so paradoxically petrified
and transfixedly terrified
by unconditional Acceptance
and radical Release
for all of us
that hanging up
the Messenger
and nailing down
the Mysterious
and boxing in
the Magnificence
appears to be
the only solution
and the flowers
of Hope wither
and the showers
of pain rain down
from the heavens
and the towers
of Wisdom crumble
in Divine Foolishness
and the curtains
of sectarian separation
(designated as Holy Habitation)
are despairingly denigrated
and torn apart
like a grieving heart
and the miles
we are believing
we need to travel
and the promises
we need to keep
slowly fade away
into the darkness
from which we
cannot retreat
into which we
are called to leap
within the desolation
may the Consolation
we are seeking
flowing out
from the torrents
of Love
crying out
for forgiveness
for all of us
sowing the seeds
of Love
into fields
from which thorns
are all we've
had to reap
meet us
in our tears
flowing out
from the abhorrence
of unbearably
unjust suffering
all around us
and among us
(and from us)
and greet us
with endless Embrace
in unlimited Grace
as we unitedly
and uncontrollably
Weep...
Amen.
