Lines of Light

for the tiny

Lines of Light

piercing through

the curtain

of gloom

that suffocates

our senses

and violates

our defenses

against despair

in these days

where Hope is 

so easily confiscated

and castigated

and crucified

and buried

and yet

never eliminated

like the Sun

behind the clouds

ever Shines...
