facing this longest night

(which is often

the loneliest night)

as we strain

to Breathe

and struggle

to believe

and Be

may we discover

the embers of Warmth

buried within

the frigid hardness

of Humus

and Hearts

the tenderness of Presence

hiding inside

the petrified paralysis

of absence

and loss

the splendour of Light

sparking amidst

the daunting darkness

of despair

and depression

the deepening of which

enables deeper clarity

of (night) Vision

to receive Gifts

of comfort in grief

of compassion and relief

beyond belief

to hear Reverberations

of restorative carols

from harking Heralds

awakening dormant Hope

enlivening deadened feeling

catalyzing holistic Healing

a Solstice of Spirit

enabling this loneliest night

to be Transcendentally Transformed

into the Loveliest...
