orbiting into obsolescence
devolving into degradation
from human contamination
through commercial exploitation
one fledgling Dogwood
gifted with Grace
planted in space
once housing orchards
(now housing humans)
might not save
this wounded World
by its Self
but its small
branches and blossoms
help this shriveling
and suffocating Sphere
to Breathe again
its essential vitality
to receive again
and this periodically
hopeless helpless Human
to believe again...
