hopping on humps
dancing over dunes
in Divine darkness
necessary to navigate
the cosmological Canopy
the numinous Night
but what inspired
their insatiable imaginations
during the Day?
did stardust-turned-sand exfoliate
disillusionment and illuminate
the Light within?
