May Peace Prevail

if Peace is less

the absence of conflict

and more the Presence

of Love beyond bounds

then may this be

a Day of Peace

in all the spaces

where fear abounds

and frantically defaces

our Sacred Grounds

and fanatically disgraces

and panically pounds

the polling places

where Freedom resounds

may all Beloveds

wearing a wide

variety of faces

carrying a broad

diversity of convictions

safely and securely

exercise their right

to cast their vote

and shine their Light

of Liberty and Equality

without any restrictions

and may all who

are ensuring protections

from those attempting

to thwart conventions

through chaotic causalities

and desperate deflections

stemming from supposedly

divine desires for democracy

to flail and fail

be protected themselves

by an intimate

and more imminent

and omnipotent Reality

as our Great Experiment

is being threatened

into early extinction

as a fear-driven fatality

may the love

of power be curtailed

by the Power

of Love fully unveiled...

and may Peace prevail.

Amen.
