for the Figments

of Imaginativity

displayed in pigments

vast as Infinity

the fleeting Glimpse

the floating Dream

the faithful Wish

that things be not

as they seem

the patience needed

awaiting a Promise

(which often includes

the forbearance

to com-Promise)

the Purpose kneaded

in the waiting

for Ultimate Fulfillments

of Justice

and Equality

for All

who've suffered

under the weight

of human greed

the demonic engine

of inhumanity

whose wounds

were borne

with Courage

and Dignity

whose blood

seeped into Soil

and seeded Hope

out of scorn

to be born

in our Time

in this Month

on this Day...
