for the Courage

and Strength

when faced

with aggression

or rejection

from others

going low

to Dig Deeper

and stay with

the pain

of being accosted

or abandoned 

(even when

the catalysts

have seemingly

take a class

in how

to accost

or abandon

in rotten ways

that trigger

the most

agonizing issues

and wounds

and gotten

an 'A'

and staying with

the pain

requires what 

feels like

reckless abandon

within one's Self

to embrace

the mess

of the less

psychologically

satisfying way)

to bear

the burden

of refusing

to inflict

the pain

upon others

keeping the wounds

open to Light

and Air

to see

and feel what

the pain

is trying

to say

and how

the slighted rage

can become

an inner Sage

when kept off

the lighted stage

how going Low

on the most

Primal and

Personal Levels

can become

the Gateway

to going High

the Birthway

to showing why

as a Seed

must seep

into the deep

of the Soil

and die

so the Tree

can ascend

into the Sky

so the Courage

and Strength

to see

the Race

to its end

is from Within

the agonizing Cry

which can open

Hearts to Heal

Wings to Fly...
