whom we honour

with offerings of flowers

and showers of emotion

and hours of passion

for our Beloveds

may we go farther

than the charted course

of predictable parlance

and restrictable romance

to explore and encounter

the uncharted Source

of rumbling Rhythm

for the Divine Dance

that unearths and unleashes

the powers of compassion

and impassioned devotion

to open our hearts

as deep and wide

as the Ocean

and ride the Waves

of sensual Thunder

and sensational Wonder

as perennial partners

in perpetual Motion

ebbing and flowing

with the tumultuous

and Transcendent Tide

stressing and straining

in endless training

like long-distance runners

stretching their sinews

through the miles

still remaining

coming and going

with the relational

agonies and Ecstasies

of long-distance Lovers

diving beneath the covers

and between the sheets

of passion and pages

to uncover the secrets

of the heart

and how it beats

and reverberates beyond ways 

the mind can calculate

and discover the Wisdom

of the sages

in the spaces

between the lines

that often reminds

but rarely repeats

to harness these Energies

so often caught

in the struggle

of self-centeredness

the ceaseless cycle

to compete

not projecting them

as demonizing disgrace

upon each other

in unrealistic expectations

nor protecting them

in idealistic hesitations

but directing them

as galloping Grace

into the Synergy

of the snuggle

of self-acceptance

the Loving Cycle

to complete

to recover ancient words

for what connects us

and yet Transcends us

and embody them anew

the hospitality of Xenia

the affectionality of Storgé

the passionality of Éros

the compassionality of Philia

the vulnerability of Philautia

the sacrificiality of Agápē

living beyond the seeming

and scheming and dreaming

to incarnate Beaming

of Light

and Teeming

with Life

and Streaming

with Delight

and Teaming

for Life

giving all

of our Being

for the sake

of Love.
