Magnifications (Xmastide 2021)

in the ebbing

and flowing

of the Christmastide

surging Swells 

of Spirit

we are created

not only to admire

with great desire

but to Surf

wondrous Waves 

blowing wild

we are invited

not merely to adore

from the shore

but to Ride

the Child

we celebrate

as Incarnation

engages in cogitation

as a manifestation

of independence

and Inspiration

revealing to his parents

and all of Creation

that at its heart

(and ours as well)

we are more

than Reflections

created to praise

and magnify the Divine

we are Magnifications

OF the Divine.
