Magical trucks

we're waiting

on this cold

sunny winter's days

for a truck

that will bring

a Magical source

of relief

and renewal

and refreshment

to our tired bodies

and strained nerves

and weary souls

in this monotonous

mode of existence

requiring every ounce

of persistence

in our Beloved

and bedraggled Beings

anticipating its arrival

amidst our survival

like curious children

on a warm

sunny summer's day

waiting for another truck

filled with magical sources

of relief 

and renewal

and refreshment

playing monotonous music

chiming out songs

that get stuck

in our heads

for far too long

(like the sugar

gets stuck on

our fingers

and teeth)

an inane invention

that grabs our attention

to let us know

that assistance

and sustenance is

on the Way

and Joy is

still at the heart

of this Day.
