where does the time go?
it doesn't 'go' anywhere
it's me
tossing to and 
fro
fluttering this way and
that
floundering and flummoxed
by conflicting
responsibilities
hounded and haunted
by confounding
perplexities
calmed and comforted
by compounding
mercies
