ramen (day 59)

throat throbbing

swollen scarred

chest congested

with coagulated crud

head hurting

heaving hurling

voice vanished

victimized by virus

until bowl of

fresh spicy ramen appears

and tears fill my ducts

and miso clears my mind

and I BREATHE.
